Michael Segal M.D.

 

As a urologist, Dr. Segal specializes in treating conditions of the kidneys and urinary systems of men, women and children. This includes kidney stones, tumors of the kidney, tumors of the bladder, incontinence, tumors of the prostate, male infertility and impotence.


Area of Expertise:


Dr. Segal's special interests are kidney stones, urologic cancer, laprascopic renal surgery and female urinary incontinence with training in trans-obtuator tape.

Medical education and training:

Dr. Segal received his medical degree from the University of Manitoba, Winnepeg. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He completed a residency in urology at the University of Ottawa, Canada. Dr. Segal is board certified in urology. This means that he has fulfilled the necessary criteria established by the regulating board and has passed the examinations that accredit him in the field of urology. Dr. Segal joined Sanford Health in 1998.

Off duty interests and activities:

Dr. Segal is married and has three daughters. In his spare time he enjoys exercising and spending time with his family.
